The Arara remote past construction

(declarative, main clause construction)

Person marking is identical to the Arara mixed Set I/II clause, except for third person, where kun(i)- is found. Notably, this marker cannot co-occur with the TAM marker -ne, which does occur with the other person prefixes (Alves 2017: 154). There are no examples of Sp verbs in the remote past, and, similarly to the Arara intermediate past clause, it is unclear whether they would take kun(i)- or the Sp marker Ø/i-.
